What students have said

There are a lot of opportunities in college; why should you come to BCM? Here are a few thoughts from students who have gotten involved.

I attended the BCM from 2023-2025! When I first started attending I was shy and didn’t have many friends. By my senior year I was leading my own D-Group and involved in the leadership teams! I was pushed by other leaders to go outside of my comfort zone. The BCM helped me become a bolder and more outgoing Christian. And along the way I made so many lifelong friendships! I have so many memories from the BCM that I will hold close to my heart. TYJ FOR THE BCM!!!!
Saraya Reddick,
Class of 2025
BCM gave me a community where I could grow in my faith and be encouraged by others who were actively pursuing Christ. It helped shape my college experience by giving me opportunities for service, spiritual growth and building meaningful relationships.
Mikaela Walker,
Class of 2019
If I could describe my time at the SAU BCM with one word it would be transformational. I walked in the doors my freshman year as a new Believer and walked out the doors 4 years later as a growing Disciple of Jesus!
Dalton Rissinger,
Class of 2021
The BCM gave me a foundation of Christ-minded believers to lean on throughout my time in college. It helped strengthen my relationship with Christ, allowed me opportunities to share the Gospel, and gave me best friends that I will keep for life!
Abby Price,
Class of 2022
From leading worship and small groups to serving others on and off campus, BCM was always a place of refuge and growth in equal measure. Lasting friendships were made that have flourished beyond our college years, and, of course, we also found each other! The memories made and spiritual growth that happened during our four years in the BCM are priceless and we will always be grateful for them.
Kyle and Mayce Plunk,
Class of 2018/2019
I can say without a doubt that the SAU BCM was the most influential part of my college experience. It allowed me to build lifelong friendships with a wide variety of people, all of whom shared the same goal: to make our college experience Christ-centered. I’m incredibly thankful for the impact it had on my life.
Brandon Groce,
Class of 2016
I can honestly say that I do not know where life would have led me if not for the BSU/BCM. The Lord used the BCM and Robert Pinkston and Ben Phillips to take me from a path that was drifting from His purpose for me, and redirect me into the center of His will, which led me into His ministry as a youth pastor, then a BCM director, and today as a pastor!
Cory Fowler,
Class of 1999
BCM was the best organization that I was involved with during my college experience. BCM helped me get involved and gave me the opportunity to have fellowship with others.
Jaxon Jennings,
Class of 2025
When I started attending the BCM, my life was completely changed. God used the people and leaders at the BCM to help me grow spiritually and to encourage me to start truly living my life for the Lord. After people poured into me spiritually, I was given opportunities to serve and pour into others myself. I met mentors here that have greatly impacted my life, best friends who share the same love for Christ as I do, and I even met the Godly man whom I now get to call my husband. The BCM will forever hold a very special place in my heart and my testimony.
